The last three times we came, they were pretty thorough and the nice older lady that was usually there at the front desk communicated well. Not sure if they just didn't have enough technicians or what, but when I had made this appointment three weeks ago for a state inspection they assured me the appointment would take roughly an hour or two. Made a 8 o'clock appointment, turned the car in at 7:30 am, two gentlemen were at the front desk. Waited hours, no call. Came back in person for an update, come to find out they hadn't even started. Guy at the front desk said, "Well, it'll be done today." What was the point of the appointment? Waited 45 min-1 hour to finally get a call to say they were done with most things but couldnt find my wheel lock to do my tires (my fault, forgot it). Rushed back home to get it, swung back around to give it to them. Waited a couple more hours, no call. Came back in person for an update, and finally they tell me its done. Moral of the story: 8 am appointment, picked up vehicle at 2:30 pm. Pretty disappointed with the customer service, overall service for vehicle was fine.

I had my vehicle brought here because it was overheating, and I was charged $419.46 + extra fess and taxes $470.78 for a diagnostic fee. I was surprised by the cost, but I authorized it because I believed it was necessary. Afterward, I had my car towed to the Kia dealership for a second opinion. The dealership determined that the repairs were covered under my manufacturer’s warranty, so I paid nothing for the repair itself. They also told me that even if the repair had not been covered under warranty, they would not have charged anywhere near what I was charged just for the diagnostic. My biggest issue isn’t that diagnostics cost money—it’s that the fee I was charged felt excessive compared to what the dealership considered reasonable. I left feeling like I paid hundreds of dollars without receiving value that justified the cost. I encourage anyone bringing their vehicle here, especially if it’s still under a manufacturer’s warranty, to contact the dealership first before agreeing to expensive diagnostic charges. I wish I had done that.

I went in to get my state inspection done, and the experience was great from start to finish. Tracy at the front desk was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The entire process from scheduling my appointment to walking out the door after everything was finished, was quick, smooth, and hassle-free. They also have a nice waiting area in a separate room, which made the wait comfortable. Everything was handled professionally, and it’s clear they care about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest and reliable service.

Came here for a second opinion. I was able to schedule an inspection appointment with them, and was out within the hour. The previous location wanted 5k to “fix” my car. All I needed to replace was a bulb. Highly recommend. Tracy was super nice and knowledgeable and T.J was the tech who worked on my inspection :)

I highly recommend Carmasters. They go above and beyond with everything. They are onpoint and keep you updated with what you need to get the work done. Tracy is very informative and knows what she is talking about as far as your vehicle, she lets you the price before any work is done. Matt (mechanic) is on point as far as getting the job done, he also goes out of his way to find parts you need that helps you save money. I needed a engine due to going through high water and it tore my engine up. He found me a good engine for a great price and did the work in a timely manner and the car now runs better then it ever did. Can’t even tell that the engine was replaced. I recommend Carmasters and trust them with whatever needs to get done with my vehicle. i will be going back there from this point on for anything I need done.
